一，原始方法

1. 只有整点的时候，用o'clock，可以省略。

three o'clock 三点钟

five o'clock 五点钟

I went home at six （o'clock）yesterday afternoon. 我昨天下午六点钟回家的。

2. 先写整点，再写分钟

7：20 seven twenty

6: 40 six forty

8:15 eight fifteen

9:30 nine thirty

What time do you go to bed ? 你几点睡觉？

At ten thirty. 十点半。

二，past,to法

1. 当分钟小于或者等于30分的时候，用介词past（过）。先写分钟，再写past，最后写整点数。

7:20 twenty past seven

6: 25 twenty-five past six

注意：15分钟用a quarter, 30分钟用half

8：15 a quarter past eight

9：30 half past nine

What time does the train leave?火车几点开?

At a quarter past eleven. 十一点一刻。

2. 当分钟大于30分的时候，用介词to（差），把时刻改变说法：7：45要说成：八点差15分 ，先写分钟，再写to,最后写整点：a quarter to eight（7:45）

11：50 ten to twelve

6：35 twenty-five to seven

What time does the plane arrive?飞机几点到？

At twenty to twelve. 十一点四十。

三，在时刻后面注明AM表示上午in the morning。注明PM表示下午in the afternoon。

3：50 PM ten to four in the afternoon

7：20 AM twenty past seven in the morning

四，时刻搭配的介词，不一定是at。我们在初中学习英语的时候，一般都有一个惯性思维，错误地认为只能是at，那是因为当时还没有学到until, since等词汇，实际上，可以接at, since,until, till, from, to六个介词的，具体要看当时的语境。

1. We must get to school at seven thirty. 我们必须七点半到达学校。
2. I get up at half past six in the morning. 我早上六点半起床。
3. My father often work very late, and sometimes he works until ten to twelve. 我爸经常工作得很晚，有时候工作到十一点五十。
4. How long have you been working in the office?你在办公室工作多长时间了？

Since a quarter to eight this morning.从早上七点四十五到现在。

5. How long did you wait for the bus last night? 昨天晚上你们等公交车等了多长时间？

Until ten to eleven.等到十点五十分。

6. How long will you wait here?你们要在这里等多久？

We'll wait until five to twelve.我们要等到十一点五十五。

7. How long do you work in your restaurant? 你们在食堂里工作多长时间？

From five o'clock until seven in the afternoon.从早上五点到下午七点钟。

8. I didn't go to bed until ten o'clock last night. 昨晚我十点钟才睡觉的。
9. We work from 8 o'clock in the morning to six o'clock in the afternoon every day.我们每天从早上八点工作到下午六点钟。
