关于英语单词sense表示的“感”，最熟悉的莫过于a sense of humour——幽默感，其实sense还可以表示很多的“感”，如下：

（强烈的）忠诚感

（孩子般的）好奇感
a sense of emptiness
空虚感
a sense of panic
恐慌感
a sense of achievement

a sense of direction

似乎可以译为：氛围感，仪式感
a sense of proportion 这个直译是 比例感，本质意思是能够感知并区分事情轻重缓急的能力和观念
dress/clothes sense 着装感
还有我们常说的第六感，就是 a sixth sense。
Sense最基本的含义就是【感觉官能，感官】，即视觉、听觉、触觉、味觉、嗅觉，人体的五种感觉官能。
然后引申出 →（对事物的）感觉→理解力，判断力（感知能力，感觉知晓能力）→理智，健全的心智，清醒的思维能力
→见识，良好的判断，清醒的认识
→意义，含义
→道理，合理性
→（因为理解的方式、看待的角度不同而得出的）意义
2015年考研英语一新题型第一段中有下面这样一句话：
How does your reading proceed? Clearly you try to comprehend, in the sense of identifying meanings for individual words and working out relationships between them, drawing on your implicit knowledge of English grammar.
