在文章中，作者讲述了自己匮乏的物质生活如何激励她更加努力地追求美好人生。然而，有人并不认可这种对贫穷的美化，提出“一味鼓吹贫穷不是蠢就是坏”，还要“警惕毒鸡汤”。
“毒鸡汤”就是正面、积极、感人的“鸡汤文”的反义词。“毒鸡汤文”往往披着“鸡汤文”的外衣，为了蹭热度和吸引眼球而宣扬虚假、有害的价值观。小编对于《感谢贫穷》到底是不是“毒鸡汤”不想做出判断，只谈谈如何翻译“毒鸡汤”~~
怎么翻译
英文单词porn应该是辨识度最高的英文单词之一。除“色情”之外，它还有一类衍生出来的常见应用。根据《朗文词典》，food porn的意思是television programmes, books, and advertisements about food and cooking, which people enjoy looking at because they have a lot of attractive images of food – used humorously or to show disapproval，也就是包含诱人食物图像/画面的食物和烹饪类电视节目、书籍和广告。需要注意的是这一用法包含幽默或贬义。和food porn类似的表达还有cat porn，网上那些猫咪视频和图片都可归于此类。
还有一个意思稍复杂一些的inspiration porn，意思是那些赞扬残疾人的文字和电视节目等。这些残疾人之所以被赞扬并非因为他们的行为，而仅仅因为他们是残疾人。使用inspiration porn这一表达的人认为这种赞扬仅是利用残疾人的残疾来激励（inspiration）正常人，是对残疾人的歧视。
从inspiration porn分析，*** porn就是用前者去吸引观众，这种利用可能引发非议。因此，本文涉及的“毒鸡汤”或可译为motivation porn，因为“贫穷”是原文作者动力来源。此时，使用motivation porn的人认为作者以贫穷这一动力来源为诱饵吸引读者注意——或者说迎合了人们对motivation的渴求——实际上传递出的信息却是有问题的，是被他们disapprove的。如果不是inspiration porn已经只用在和残疾人相关的场合，inspiration porn也是翻译这类“毒鸡汤”的好选择。概括来说，以“励志”为幌子的“毒鸡汤”或都可译为motivation porn，以“感人”为包装的“毒鸡汤”或可译为sympathy porn。
《感谢贫穷》事件还会让人想到另一种porn，即poverty porn，指文字或视觉媒介利用贫穷单纯吸引眼球、捐款或其它支持。非洲营养不良儿童的照片就可能属于这一范畴。

The former president Lincoln success be the America president until he was 51,when he was 28 ,he try to stand for the parliament,but fail, and he got the mental problem,lay down in his bed and sick as a dog for several months.
so, in some shallow person's view,the 28 can stand for a person's whole life ? that's ridiculous.
here's is another one “I'm in charge of beauty. You're in charge of making money”
so ,according to the logic of this sentence, when the girl is not as beautiful as usual.the boy can change another girl ?girl's girl's girl''s，don't be silly, there no one will treat you as a daughter forever just because you are beautiful , OK？love is not one person's matter ! and you also will not treat your boy friend as a father.right?
Unfortunately there are a lot of this kind of sentence.this kind of "soup" is poisoning a lot of people right now.what i suggest is, you can read the sentence. But please wipe your eyes, some of that is not soup,it’s poison。please remember the ancient Chinese poem say “纸上得来终觉浅，绝知此事要躬行”，Your own experience. Your own insight is more useful than any motivation porn. The one understand you most in this life ,is yourself.

当你浏览你的朋友圈、你的微博，你会发现一些非常鼓舞人心的励志信息。然后你开始兴奋了，你开始觉得人生又充满了动力。对吗?
但是，我们到底有没有仔细想过那些话背后的意思呢?

再举一个例子 “我负责貌美如花，你负责赚钱养家"
所以，根据这句话的逻辑，当女孩不像曾经那么漂亮的时候。男孩就可以抛弃她换一个？女孩们！别傻了，没有人会仅仅因为你长的漂亮把你当成女儿养，好吗? 爱情不是一个人的事! 况且，你也不会像对待父亲一样对待你的男朋友，对吧?
不幸的是，这样的毒鸡汤还有很多。这种“汤”现在正在毒害很多人。我个人建议是，你可以读鸡汤。但请擦你的眼睛，它们有的不是汤,是毒药。古诗云“纸上得来终觉浅,绝知此事要躬行”,你自己的经验。你自己见解，比任何鸡汤都更有用。这个世上最懂你的人，是你自己！
