东风夜放花千树，
Lanterns are flashing at night in the east wind like countless flower trees.
更吹落、星如雨。
With fireworks flying like meteor showers.
宝马雕车香满路。
Luxury carriages are running on the road with fragrance drifting.
凤箫声动，
Pan flutes sound beautiful,
玉壶光转，
Moonlight flows and turns,
一夜鱼龙舞。
And festive lanterns dance all night long.

蛾儿雪柳黄金缕，
Beauties are wearing excellent jewellery,
笑语盈盈暗香去。
Laughing and talking with hidden fragrance wafting.
众里寻他千百度，
I look repeatedly for her in vain in the crowd,
蓦然回首，那人却在，
Suddenly looking back,I find her,
灯火阑珊处。
In the dim lantern light.
