驴子、乌鸦与狼(Donkeys, crows and wolves)
一天,有头背上受了伤的驴子,在牧场上吃草。乌鸦飞到他背上,啄他的伤口,驴子痛得跳起来大叫。而站在远处的驴夫却若无其事,在那里发笑。有只狼正从这里走过,见到后,自言自语地说:“我真倒霉!只要我望一望驴子,就遭到人们追赶,而乌鸦飞到驴背上,人们还笑。”
寓意:人们时时刻刻警惕那些专做坏事的人。

有人养着一只狗和一头驴子,主人常同狗一起嬉戏。有一天,他外出吃饭,带回一些食物,扔给狗吃。狗高兴得摇着尾巴迎了上去。驴子非常羡慕,也蹦蹦跳跳跑了过去,结果踢了主人一脚。主人十分气愤,痛打了驴子一顿,并把它拴在马槽边。
寓意:同样的事情不一定适合于所有的人。
