考点一 、时间表达法
(1) 直接表达法或叫做顺读法：直接按照(几)点(几)分的顺序来表示时间。 9: 00 ——nine (o'clock) 7: 20——seven twenty (2)添加介词表示法 如果分钟数小于或等于30，用past来表示，结构是"分钟 past 该点钟"意为"几点过几分"；如果分钟数大于30，用to来表示，结构是"分钟 to 下一点钟"意为"差几分钟到几点"。 11: 05—— five past eleven 2:50——ten to three 8:40——twenty to nine 在第二种表示法中，如果分钟是15，一般用a quarter (一刻钟)来代替fifteen; 如果分钟是30， 一般用half来代替thirty。8: 15——a quarter past eight 12: 30——half past twelve2：45——a quarter to three
在具体时刻，在几点钟，在几点几分前介词用at。
at ten o'clock 在十点钟 at ten to ten 在九点五十分 （差十分钟十点）
考点二、brush my teeth 涮牙
(1) brush 名词 "刷子; 毛笔"，复数形式 brushes。
Please buy me two brushes. 请给我买两把刷子。
(2) brush 动词 "（用刷子）刷"。
Tom is brushing his teeth. 汤姆正在刷牙。
He often brushes his shoes himself. 他经常自己刷鞋子。
(3) teeth 名词 "牙齿"复数，单数是tooth。类似变化的 词 foot (单数) feet (复数)。
考点三、and then与 and 辨析
and then 意为"然后"，连接两个前后衔接发生的动作，后接动词（短语）或句子。
He sat there for several minutes and then went out.
他坐在那里几分钟，然后出去了。
My father had a quick breakfast and then went to work.
我父亲快速吃完早餐然后去上班了。
and 连词 "和；并且"，可连接名称、代词、动词、形容词等，也可连接句子。连接动词时表示两个动作是前后衔接连贯发生。

汤姆和迈克是好朋友。
He took out camera and began to take photos.
他拿出照相机开始拍照。

go to bed 上床睡觉，强调动作和过程，和结果无关。
When did you go to bed last night? 昨晚你几点睡觉的？
I went to bed at a quarter past ten. 我十点一刻上床睡觉的。
go to sleep "入睡"，强调结果，"睡着了"。相当于短语 fall asleep。
He was tired and went to sleep early.
他很累，早早就睡着了。
I was so excited that I couldn't go to sleep.
我太激动了，睡不着觉。
