基数词-year-old是复合形容词结构，在句中做定语，其中year用单数形式
An eight-year-old girl 一个八岁的小女孩
How old are you? I am twelve years old. 你多大了？我12岁了。
2、 “在……岁”的表示法
表示一个人具体的岁数时，可用“at the age of 基数词”，“at age 基数词”或“at 基数词“
He started to learn the piano at the age of seven. 他七岁时开始学习弹钢琴。
He set up his own company at 30. 他三十岁左右创建了自己的公司。
“In one’s 整 基数词的复数形式”可表示“在某人几十多岁时”
He went to London in his twenties. 他二十多岁时去了伦敦。
She is in her fifties. 她五十多岁。（从50岁到59岁之间）
