Title: The Frog and the Fox
Once upon a time, in a beautiful forest near a bustling town, there lived a clever frog named Kermit. Kermit was known for his quick thinking and kind heart. One day, as he was sitting by the river, he spotted a sly fox named Rick sneaking around the bushes.
Rick was always trying to come up with ways to take advantage of others. This time, he had his eyes on Kermit. Rick walked up to Kermit and said, "Hey there, Kermit! I've got a deal for you."
"Oh, really?" asked Kermit. "What kind of deal?"
"I'll give you ten shiny gold coins if you let me eat you," replied Rick.
Kermit laughed and said, "Well, Rick, you're pretty clever, but I'm not afraid of you. In fact, I have a better deal for you."
"Oh, and what's that?" scoffed Rick.
"If you can outrun me in a race, I'll give you 100 shiny gold coins," said Kermit confidently.
Rick's eyes lit up at the thought of so much gold. "You're on!" he exclaimed.
The next day, all the animals in the forest gathered to watch the race. With a loud bang, the starting pistol fired, and Kermit and Rick were off! Rick sprinted as fast as his legs could carry him, but Kermit was much faster. He hopped ahead effortlessly, leaving Rick in the dust.
As Kermit approached the finish line, he saw Rick struggling to keep up. Suddenly, an idea popped into his head. Kermit stopped and waited for Rick to catch up. When Rick finally arrived, gasping for breath, Kermit said, "Rick, I have a question for you."
"What is it?" huffed Rick.
"Would you rather be fast or smart?" asked Kermit.
Rick, still trying to catch his breath, thought for a moment. "I guess I'd rather be smart," he admitted.
"Then you've won our race, Rick," said Kermit. "Because only a fool would try to outrun a frog."
From that day on, Rick decided to use his cleverness for good instead of evil. And Kermit's kindness and quick thinking became legendary in the forest.
