The best time to visit Xinjiang is autumn, from August to September. During these two months the weather is cool, and many kinds of fruit are waiting for visitors from within China and foreign countries.
Xinjiang is far away from the sea. The weather in Xinjiang has a large temperature disparity(温差) between daytime and evening time, and it has much sunlight, dry air and low precipitation. They're helpful for cotton. The temperature in North Xinjiang is higher in winter but lower in summer. It is different from that in Southern Xinjiang.
