初中阶段英语对动词的考查，也是比较多的，常在于听力、单选题、完形填空、任务型阅读，在单选和完形填空中，常常考查一些动词的固定搭配以及在不同环境下动词的意思，以及动词的时态变化。今天，黄小将为大家整理了初一英语中常考的10组动词它们的用法。
1、dress
dress sb.给某人穿衣服
dress up as 角色
dress up in 衣服
其它3个表示穿衣的单词：
wear 动词，表示穿着的状态
put on 动词，表示穿上，一般用于祈使句
in 介词，表示穿着的状态，后面可接衣服或颜色
2、listen/hear
hear强调结果“听到”，hear sb./sth.
listen 强调动作“听”，listen to 宾语, listen to sb./sth.
see 强调结果“看到”，see sb./sth.
look 强调动作“看”，look at 宾语, look at sb./sth.
3、match/fit
match表品质、颜色、设计等方面匹配，即：与……相配；
fit作及物动词：适合，配上，合身，使人适应；作不及物动词，表吻合，合身；
sth. fit sb. very well (强调某物合某人身)
suit 表适合，常强调颜色、式样等适合某人，而 fit 则强调大小合身。

作名词：people in need
作行为动词：need sth.; need sb. to do sth.;
need to do sth.; don’t/doesn’t need to do sth.
作情态动词：need do sth.; needn’t do sth.
6、seem
seem to do. He seems to go to Shanghai.
seem adj. He seems very happy.
It seems that 从句 It seems that he will go to Shanghai.
7、find out
find out：查出某个东西或某件事情，“查明”；
look for：寻找某个东西，强调动作；
find：找到某个东西，强调结果。
如：Can you find out when the train will leave?
I’m looking for my pen. (注意只有 look for 可以用现在进行时) I can’find my pen.(can 不和 look for 搭配使用)
8、keep
keep doing：一直做某事
keep sb. doing：让某人一直做某事
keep adj：保持某种状态
keep sb./sth. adj：使某人／某事处于某种种状态
9、borrow/lend
lend短语：lend sth. to sb.=lend sb. sth.
borrow短语：borrow sth. from sb.
辨析：lend 是借给别人，borrow 是从别人那儿借过来
10、make
sth be made of 材料 某物由……制成（句子） The coat is made of cotton. 这件外套是棉质的。
sth. made of 材料 由……制成的某物（短语） The coat made of cotton feels comfortable.这件棉质的外套摸上去很舒服。
