1 `cry'的用法
Cry可以用作动词也可以用作名词。动词的其他形式是cries, crying, cried。名词的复数形式是cries。

Helen began to cry.
Feed the baby as often as it cries.

2 `weep'的用法
weep和cry的意思相同。weep是一个过时的词，现在只在故事中使用。“weep”的过去式和过去分词是“wept”而不是“weeped”。
The girl was weeping as she kissed him goodbye.
James wept when he heard the news.
3 `cry'的另一个含义
在一个故事中，如果有人对什么cry，指的是他们喊出声来。
