The Donkey and the Nightingale
The donkey said to the nightingale, "I am glad to see you! Everyone says you have a beautiful voice, but I don't know if it's really true. Will you sing a song for me? So I can hear if your voice is really as beautiful as they say it is."
The nightingale said yes. Then it played its melody, rising and falling, flowing and flowing, and filled the forest with its merry melody.
When the nightingale sang, there was a sudden silence in the forest, and even the shepherd listened carefully.
When the Nightingale had finished, the Donkey nodded and said, "It's all right, not too bad. But I think rooster crowing sounds better. I always feel warm in my heart when I hear the cock crowing. If you can learn from the rooster for two or three years, I am sure you will make great progress."
The poor nightingale flew away as soon as she heard what the donkey said.
We should make correct and objective evaluation, learn to encourage and praise others, so as to make progress together.
驴子和夜莺
驴子对夜莺说：“很高兴见到你！大家都说你的歌声美妙动听，我不知道事实究竟是不是这样。你能不能为我唱一曲呢？好让我听听你的声音是不是真的如同他人形容的那样美好。”
夜莺答应了驴子的请求。于是，它按着曲调，声音时高时低，时而行云流水，时而又如流水淙淙，欢乐的曲调洋溢在整个森林之中。
当夜莺在歌唱的时候，森林里突然变得寂静起来，就连牧羊人也在仔细地听着呢。
夜莺唱完之后，驴子点了点头，说：“还可以，不算是太糟糕。但是我觉得公鸡的叫声更好听。每当我听到公鸡的叫声时，心里总是觉得暖暖的。如果你能向公鸡学上个两年三年的，我相信你一定会有很大的进步。”
可怜的夜莺听到驴子的话后，立即就飞走了。
我们应该做正确、客观的评价，学会鼓励、褒奖他人，这样才能共同进步。
