1）明白，理解(尤指醒悟或掌握)

mess 表示混乱;杂乱;肮脏;不整洁(或邋遢、不修边幅)的人，
He's such a mess ！他太邋遢了。
The room was in a terrible mess.（in a mess乱糟糟，一团糟）
房间里脏乱不堪。
Mess 做动词时，表示弄乱，mess up 陷入困境；搞糟
Don't mess it up! 别搞砸了。（记不记得以前也有一个表示搞砸的短语？screw up）。
3、How did you get through it?
get through 度过（艰难或不愉快的一段时间）；通过（考试、审查等）；（用电话与某人）联系上；完成（任务、工作等）；（与go through 意识基本一致）；仔细查找（寻找）
