常用“vt. sb. into doing sth. ”结构的动词
1. fool 欺骗，哄骗
He has fooled a lot of people into believing that he is an honest statesman.
他欺骗了很多人，使他们以为他是一个正直的政治家。
2. deceive 一般指用虚假外表使人信以为真，或蓄意歪曲事实，或造成错误印象使人上当受骗
They deceived the old man into signing the papers.
他们骗那个老人在文件上签了字。
3. trap 诱骗，诱使
She trapped him into admitting that he liked her.
在她的诱骗下，他承认喜欢她。
4. beguile [bɪ ɡaɪl]（尤指用花言巧语）欺骗，哄骗
They were beguiled into giving him large sums of money.
他们受骗, 给了他一大笔钱。
消费者经常受骗购买有毛病的电子产品。
6. bamboozle [bæm buz(ə)l] 欺骗，哄骗
He bamboozled me into believing that he’d lost all his money.
他欺骗我让我相信他把钱全丢光了。
★ 常见表达是bamboozle sb. with sth. 用某物骗某人
7. hoodwink 欺骗，欺诈I was hoodwinked into buying fake jewels.
我受骗买了假珠宝。
8. mislead 欺骗，误导
Her innocent expression misled me into trusting her.
她天真无邪的表情使得我误信了她。
9. delude 欺骗，哄骗
That new job title is just a way of deluding her into thinking she’s been promoted.
那个新的职位头衔只是骗她相信自己已被提升的一种手段而已。
10. hoax [hoʊks]（开玩笑地）骗，作弄
I was hoaxed into believing their story. 我上了当，还以为他们的玩笑是真的呢。
★ 用作名词时更常见。
