My hometown is located in a small village in the south of the Yangtze River, where the scenery is picturesque and the people are simple. However, with the passage of time, some changes have taken place in my hometown.

The villagers used to have adobe houses with straw roofs. Today, many villagers have built brick houses, and some have even built small western-style houses.
记得小时候，家乡的路是泥泞的小路，交通十分不便。如今，那条小路已经变成了宽阔的柏油路，车辆和行人络绎不绝。家乡的房屋也发生了很大的变化。以前村民们的房屋都是土坯房，屋顶铺着稻草。而如今，许多村民都盖起了砖瓦房，甚至有些人还盖起了小洋楼。
