智者千虑，必有一失；愚者千虑，必有一得。

为善者，天报之以福；为非者，天报之以殃。
For good, will bring its blessing, for bad, will take its revenge.
夫利，百物之所生也，天地之所载也，而有专之，其害多矣。
For profit, the hundreds of things will born, the heaven and earth will be carried. But if you monopolise it, will be a lot of disaster.
治世不一道，便国不法古。

治国之道，富民为始；富民之要，在於节俭。

民人以食为天。

将在军，君令有所不受。

大名之下，难以久居。
It’s hard to stay longer under the big name.
人固未易知，知人亦未易也。

门不夜关，道不拾遗。
At night no need shut door, on roadside no worry lose something.
欲而不知，失其所以欲；有而不知足，失其所以有。
Desire and do not know, so lose its desire; get something but do not think enough, should be lose its own.
黄金有疵，白玉有瑕。

一死一生，乃知交情。一富一贫，乃知交态。

富贵多士，贫贱寡友。
Rich may have many friends, poor may have few friend.
父慈子孝，夫信妻贞，家之福也。

君子以义死难，视死如归。
The gentleman to righteousness, looks death as return.
人众者胜天，天定亦能破人。
Many people can win the heaven, but heaven also definitely can break people.
深谋远虑，行军用兵之道。
Foresight is the way of marching.
桃木不言，下自成蹊。
Peaches and plumes do not speak, a path is formed beneath them.
众口铄金，积毁销骨。
Public clamour can confound right and wrong. Unceasing slander can destroy someone.
祸不妄至，福不徒来。
Misfortune comes without sake, blessing comes without free.
千人之诺诺，不如一士之谔谔。

当断不断，反受其乱。

力田不如逢年，善仕不如遇合。

富而不骄，贵而不舒。

同恶相助，同好相留，同情相成，同欲相趋，同利相死。
Same evils will help each other, same good will stay with each other, compassion helps each other, same desire pursue each other, same interests and die together.
善用兵者不以短击长，而以长击短。
A good soldier does not use demerit to strike merit, but can use the long to strike the short.
鉴于水者见面之容，鉴于人者知吉与凶。

安危在出令，存亡在所任。

Farmer does not go out, lack its food, worker does not go out, lack its work, business does not go out, three treasures lost, the Yu does not go out, less it’s wealth.
意在斯乎！意在斯乎！
