人民大会堂是中国全国人民代表大会开会地和全国人民代表大会常务委员会的办公场所，是党、国家和各人民团体举行政治活动的重要场所，也是中国党和国家*和人民群众举行政治、外交、文化活动的场所。
The Grand Hall of the People is located on the western edge of Tiananmen Square. It is used for ceremonial activities by the PRC and the Communist Party of China. The Great Hall of the People was opened in September 1959 and it is one of the ten public buildings that were built in Beijing in 1959, to commemorate the tenth anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China.
4.鸟巢
Bird Net (National Stadium)
国家体育场（鸟巢）位于北京奥林匹克公园中心区南部，为2008年北京奥运会的主体育场。工程总占地面积21公顷，场内观众坐席约为91000个。举行了奥运会、残奥会开闭幕式、田径比赛及足球比赛决赛。奥运会后成为北京市民参与体育活动及享受体育娱乐的大型专业场所，并成为地标性的体育建筑和奥运遗产。
The stadium was designed for use throughout the 2008 Summer Olympics and Paralympics and will be used again in the 2022 Winter Olympics and Paralympics. It is situated in Olympic Green Village, Chaoyang District of Beijing. After the Olympics ended, it was open as a tourist attraction. Now, it's the center of international or domestic sports competition and recreation activities.
5.中央电视台总部大楼
CCTV Headquarters
中央电视台总部大楼，位于北京商务中心区，内含央视总部大楼、电视文化中心、服务楼、庆典广场。由荷兰人雷姆•库哈斯和德国人奥雷•舍人带领大都会建筑事务所（OMA）设计。中央电视台总部大楼建筑外形前卫，被美国《时代》评选为2007年世界十大建筑奇迹，并列的有北京当代万国城和国家体育场。
The CMG Headquarters is a 234-metre (768ft), 44-story skyscraper on East Third Ring Road, Guanghua Road in the Beijing Central Business District (CBD). Groundbreaking took place on 1 June 2004 and the building's facade was completed in January 2008. After the construction was delayed by a fire which in February 2009 engulfed the adjacent Television Cultural Center, the headquarters was completed in May 2012. The CCTV Headquarters won the 2013 Best Tall Building Worldwide from the Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat.

National Center of Performing Arts
中国国家大剧院位于北京市中心天安门广场西侧，中国国家表演艺术的最高殿堂，中外文化交流的最大平台，中国文化创意产业的重要基地。作为新北京十六景之一的地标性建筑，国家大剧院造型独特的主体结构，一池清澈见底的湖水，以及外围大面积的绿地、树木和花卉，不仅极大改善了周围地区的生态环境，更体现了人与人、人与艺术、人与自然和谐共融、相得益彰的理念。
Located on the west of the Grand Hall of the People, it was designed by French architect Paul Andreu. Construction started in December 2001 and the inaugural concert was held in December 2007. The Centre, an ellipsoid dome of titanium and glass surrounded by an artificial lake, seats 5,452 people in three halls and is almost 12,000 m² in size. The design, with large open space, water, trees, was specially designed to complement the red walls of ancient buildings and the Great Hall of the People, in order to melt into the surroundings as opposed to standing out against them.

China World Trade Center Tower III
中国国际贸易中心第三期，简称国贸三期，是现在北京的最高建筑。国贸三期主塔楼总高度330米，地上层数为74层，地下4层，集现代办公楼、豪华五星级酒店、高档宴会厅和精品商场于一体，2005年6月16日动工，可抗8级地震，每15层设计一个避难层，危急时刻人员可就近躲避，楼顶还可停降直升飞机。
China World Trade Center Tower III is at all skyscraper in Beijing with 81 floors, 4 underground floors, and 30 elevators. It is located in vicinity of Beijing Business District, close to China World Hotel and Dabeiyao. It is the third phase of development of the China World Trade. It is used for office and hotel space, with retail at its base. In 2010 the China World Trade Center Tower III took the title of "world's tallest building with a roof-top helipad".
