SUMMARY:
GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB: To work with SHO PM, USO CM, USO designer and vendors& model shop to support the development of the new tooling plastic product, to meet HGU’s quality requirement and delivery.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Attend on new product development meeting, evaluate samples on every stage, find out potential quality, safety, reliability and function issues and give solution suggestions;
2. Give technical support and guidance to merchandiser and vendors for the plastic tooling items, follow up 3D file creation, proto-type making and tooling & debug;
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
A. Education: Bachelor or above
B. Preferred Major: Mechanics
C. Experience: 8 years on plastic structure design and tooling;
D. Personality: responsible, careful, compression resistance, good communication skill, willing to travel a lot;
E. Good at English reading & writing, good at excel & word, can use SolidWorks to analyze and adjust 3d files if need.
F. Master plastic material properties, good understanding on injection, blow mold, roto casting, and extrusion process etc.;
G. Extensive knowledge on plastic decoration process, like spray, tempo printing, silk printing, heat transfer, water transfer etc.
H. Electronic experience will be a plus.
