【基础知识】
“should have＋过去分词”意为“本应该做……”。用于肯定句，表示本该做某事，而实际上未做；用于否定句，则表示不该做的事反而做了，含有后悔、责备、遗憾等意思。
The little plants have been burnt by the sun. You should have watered them earlier. 幼苗被晒干了，你早该给它们浇水了。（含有责备之意）
