一、简单句
由一个主语(或并列主语)和一个谓语(或并列谓语)构成的句子。
Tom is a pupil.汤姆是个学生。
Tom and Jim are friends.汤姆和吉姆是朋友。
Lily can sing and dance.莉莉会唱歌和跳舞。
二、并列句
由并列连词(and,so,but,or等)把两个或两个以上的简单句连在一起而构成的句子。
Both you and I are workers.你和我都是工人。
Either you or I am wrong.要么你错，要么我错。
Neither Jim nor Tom is at school.吉姆和汤姆都不在学校。
I like English,but I don’t like math.我喜欢英语，但我不喜欢数学。
Hurry up,or you’ll be late.快点，否则你会迟到的。
三、复合句
由一个主句和一个或一个以上的从句构成的句子。
I think he is at home.我认为他在家。
She doesn’t know who I am.她不知道我是谁。
You will have a great time if you come to the party.如果你参加派对，你将会玩得很开心。
The trouble is that I have lost my key.麻烦是我丢了钥匙。
Whoever comes is welcome.无论谁来都欢迎。
