上海博物馆5月22日发布了参观免预约的公告，为积极回应社会关切，确保参观体验和文物安全，上海博物馆研究决定，即日起，实行工作日（周一闭馆）入馆参观免预约。双休日、国定节假日、1月1日至2月底和7月1日至8月底以及举办热门特展等参观高峰期间，仍采取预约入馆参观机制。如遇特展厅出现参观人流高峰，会适时进行现场疏导服务。对于不能使用智能设备的特殊人群或特殊原因无法实现预约的观众，可到上海博物馆现场预约亭进行预约。
给您带来不便之处，敬请谅解。我馆热忱欢迎各位观众朋友前来参观，并竭诚做好服务！

Dear Visitors:
On 22 May, we announced that no advance reservation is required for entry. We have received feedbacks and suggestions from our visitors concerning the non-reservation policy.
For a safe and comfortable environment in the Museum, we've decided that the advance reservation is still needed for the following dates:
1. Weekends
2. National holidays
3. From January 1 to end of February
4. From July 1 to end of August
5. During important special exhibitions
No reservation is required for entry during weekdays (closed on Monday).
Please kindly note that the Museum may optimize the visitor flow inside the facility if needed. On-site reservation service is also provided for those who can't make reservation online via smart devices or due to specific reasons.
