天津造币总厂于1908年正式铸行了光绪年造总厂库平七钱二分银币，此枚造币总厂光绪元宝，品相俱佳，铸造精良，重量合适，成色标准，包浆自然，纹饰精美，艺术价值极高。钱币正面中央珠圈内镌满汉文“光绪元宝”四字，珠圈外上镌汉文“造币总厂”四字，下镌为“库平七钱二分”，文字挺拔俊秀，端庄工整，在珠环与齿状装饰圈中间的上部，左右分别有两个凸起的防伪圆点。钱币背面中央镌蟠龙图案，间饰以云纹，雕刻精细，龙鳞清晰，龙爪怒张，龙尾飘扬，栩栩如生，宛如一幅优美的画卷，令人惊叹！上端为“光绪年造”，左右和下端环镌英文“TAI-CHING-TI-KUO SILVER COIN”，中文译为“大清帝国银币”。此币保存完好，色泽明亮，铸工精美，边齿规范，在众多古币中独树一帜，魅力四射，具有极高的投资价值和收藏价值。

Guangxu Yuanbao was one of the currency in circulation during the reign of Guangxu in the Qing Dynasty. Zhang Zhidong, governor of Guangdong and Guangxi, took the lead in introducing British coin minting machines to cast silver and copper dollars. Later, all provinces followed suit, with 19 provincial bureaus casting. During the reign of Guangxu, a series of silver coins were minted, but the Guangxu Yuanbao of the Mint General was not easy to circulate, so the amount of silver coins was extremely rare and more precious.
In 1908, Tianjin Mint officially minted the Kuping seven coin and two cent silver coin of Guangxu General Mint. This piece of Guangxu Yuanbao of Guangxu General Mint has excellent appearance, fine casting, proper weight, standard quality, natural coating, exquisite decoration and high artistic value. The central bead circle on the front of the coin is engraved with the Chinese character "Guangxu Yuanbao", the outer bead circle is engraved with the Chinese character "Mint General", and the lower bead circle is engraved with the Chinese character "Kuping Seven Coins and Two Fen". The characters are straight, handsome, dignified and neat. There are two raised anti-counterfeit dots on the left and right in the upper part between the bead ring and the toothed decorative ring.
