Kesha sang her heart out, belting her lyrics with dripping, raw emotion. It’s an emotional highlight of the evening, given that it’s a song aimed at her alleged abuser Dr Luke.
Another pivotal moment of the night was a tribute to the victims of the Las Vegas shooting and other instances of gun violence and terrorism at music events over the past 12 months.
Handwritten notes bearing the names of the dead were projected on the stage as country music stars Maren Morris, Eric Church and Brothers Osborne performed Eric Clapton's “Tears In Heaven.”
And all these stars appeared at the Vegas festival where the shooting took place.
