可凯特尼斯和最底层的民众们想实现的是什么呢？是推翻暴政统治，为此大家才甘愿冒着枪林弹雨，却没有想到，新政权的建立，也是踩着无数无辜的生命，最终巩固另一个当权者的统治。
嘲笑鸟，嘲笑的又何止是旧政权的代表斯诺总统？！当权者的本质都一样，最终被愚弄的，只有民众。
所以大结局，凯特尼斯射出的那一箭，可谓是对政治最尖锐的讽刺！
PS：最后的最后，凯特尼斯怀抱孩子说的那一段话：
“Did you have a nightmare? I have nightmares too. Someday I'll explain it to you, why they came, why they never go away. But I'll tell you how I survived it too. I made a list in my head, of all the good things I’ve seen someone do. Every little thing I can remember. It is like a game, I play it over and over and over. Gets a little tedious after all these years, but there are much worse games to play.
