At table 和 at the table 有什么不一样呢？
有同学说，嗨，不就是多了个 the 嘛，肯定一个是不特指的桌子，一个是特指的桌子呗。
差别不是在这里哦，听吉米老师讲讲吧~
at table≠在桌旁
at table
吃饭
at table 不止是坐在桌子旁，而且是坐在桌子旁吃饭，所以它的意思是“在吃饭、在用餐”，吃饭这个动作正在进行。
例句
The whole room is at table.
一屋子的人都在吃饭。
at the table
在桌旁
这里的 the table 不一定是餐桌，可以是任何一张桌子，at the table 就是“在桌旁”的意思。可以这样理解，sit at the table and have a meal 就等于 at table，这两个短语的区别就在于坐在桌子旁是不是在吃饭。
例句
They sat at the table by the window.
他们坐在靠窗的桌子旁。
wait at table≠在桌旁等
wait at table
端饭上菜、做服务员
wait at table 字面意思是“在桌旁等”，大家吃席的时候，是不是有人在桌子旁等着帮忙上菜？所以 wait at table 就是“端饭上菜”的意思，也可以延申为“做服务员”。
