水龙吟·白鹅潭纪游
田 汉肇香舫上凭栏，
残阳影里苍波远。
楼船矗立，
布帆徐动，
轻舟似箭。
海舶遥来，
浓烟拖墨，
电光齐灿。
想中山当日，
白鹅潭上，
为祖国，兴亡战。
一带泛家浮院。
伴红灯、歌声微颤。
红衣疍女，
不穿罗袜，
盈盈送眄。
盛景当前，
盛筵难再，
酒痕飞溅。
只伤心狱底，
有人此际，
泪痕洗面。
田汉（1898-1968
），湖南长沙人，曾任中国文联副主席，中国戏剧家协会主席。有《田汉文集》。
TIAN Han (1898-1968), a native of Changsha, Hunan Province. He used to be the vice chairman of China Federation of Literature and Art Circles, and the chairman of China Theatre Association. He authoredTian Han’s Collection of Essays.（雷秋慧译）
White Goose Pool
—In the Tune of Water Dragon Chanting

I lean on the rail on Incense Boat;
Twilight in the waves afar gleams, afloat.
The towered ships stand so high;
Their sails seem to wave slow;
The yachts like arrows fly.
Ships from afar, far there,
Thick smoke looking like ink,
Electric lights all glare.
Think of Sun Yat-sen in those days,
Active at White Goose Pool
Fighting for Motherland, and for our race.
Floating on water, those boat livers
Red lanterns as mates, their singing shivers.
Boat girls all in red dressed,
No socks only bare feet,
And their glances so sweet.
The great scenes are in sight,
But banquets backward flash.
Wine stains splatter and splash.
Grief can the jailed heart penetrate.
Now someone does there wait;
His face his tear drips wash.
