少时不识月，呼作白玉盘。
又疑瑶台镜，飞在青云端。
仙人垂两足，桂树何团团。
白兔捣药成，问言与谁餐。
When I was a boy I called the moona white plate of jade,
sometimes it looked like a great mirror hanging in the sky,
first came the two legs of the fairy and the cassia tree,
but for whom the rabbit kept on pounding medical herbs,
I just could not guess.
行路难
《行路难》一诗中，开始是踌躇与茫然，结尾是豁达与乐观。诗的开头描绘了一幅满汉全席的图景，以反衬出李白心中的郁郁之情：金樽盛着玉液琼浆，玉盘中尽是美味珍羞。看来诗仙的确“不差钱”。

《行路难三首·其一》
Hard is the Way of the World
金樽清酒斗十千，
玉盘珍羞直万钱。
停杯投箸不能食，
拔剑四顾心茫然。
欲渡黄河冰塞川，
将登太行雪满山。
Pure wine in golden cup costs ten thousand coins, good!
Choice dish in a jade plate is worth as much, nice food!
Pushing aside my cup and chopsticks, I can't eat;
Drawing my sword and looking round, I hear my heart beat.
I can't cross Yellow River: ice has stopped its flow;
I can't climb Mount Taihang: the sky is blind with snow.
闲来垂钓碧溪上，
忽复乘舟梦日边。
行路难，行路难，
多歧路，今安在。
长风破浪会有时，
直挂云帆济沧海。
I poise a fishing pole with ease on the green stream
Or set sail for the sun like the sage in a dream.
Hard is the way, Hard is the way.
Don't go astray! Whither today?
A time will come to ride the wind and cleave the waves;
I'll set my cloudlike sail to cross the sea which raves.
将进酒
金樽对月，欢饮达旦。千金散尽也要把酒狂歌，钟鼓馔玉都不足为道。五花马，千金裘，皆是身外之物，不如一杯美酒。
这些意象皆是贵重之物，李白却视金钱如粪土。一首《将进酒》（Invitation to Wine），道尽了他的豁达与潇洒。许渊冲这么翻译：
人生得意须尽欢，
莫使金樽空对月。
天生我材必有用，
千金散尽还复来。
烹羊宰牛且为乐，
会须一饮三百杯。
When hopes are won, oh, drink your fill in high delight,
And never leave your wine cup empty in moonlight!
Heaven has made us talents; we're not made in vain.
A thousand gold coins spent, more will turn up again.
Kill a cow, cook a sheep and let us merry be,
And drink three hundred cupfuls of wine in high glee!
钟鼓馔玉不足贵，
但愿长醉不愿醒。
古来圣贤皆寂寞，
惟有饮者留其名。
What difference will rare and costly dishes make?
I want only to get drunk and ne'er to wake.
How many great men were forgotten through the ages?
Great drinkers are better known than sober sages.
陈王昔时宴平乐，
斗酒十千恣欢谑。
主人何为言少钱，
径须沽取对君酌。
五花马、千金裘，
呼儿将出换美酒，
与尔同销万古愁。
The Prince of Poets feasted in his palace at will,
Drank wine at ten thousand coins a cask and laughed his fill.
A host should not complain of money he is short;
To drink together we’d sell things of any sort.
The fur coat worth a thousand coins of gold
And flower-dappled horse may both be sold
To buy good wine that we may drown the woes age-old.
这些脍炙人口的名作，处处体现诗仙不仅才华横溢，还是个不折不扣的有钱人。那么李白的钱究竟是哪来的呢？
