考点一、neither 用法
neither "二者都不" 表示全部否定， 和 both (二者都) 相对。
(1) neither 形容词 neither 单数名词，做主语时谓语动词用单数。
Mike and Tom give different answers, but Neither answer is right.
迈克和汤姆给出了不同答案，但两个答案都不对。
(2) neither 代词 neither of … 复数名词或代词, 做主语时，谓语动词用单数。
It's much too late now. Neither of my parents goes to bed.
时间已经很晚了，我的父母亲都没有上床睡觉。
Lucy and Lily are twin sisters. Neither of them likes dancing.
露西和莉莉是孪生姐妹，她们都不喜欢跳舞。
注意：both 和 neither 相对，但both 或 both 复数名词，以及both of ( 限定词) 复数名词 / 代词，做主语时，谓语动词用复数。
There are many trees on both sides of the street. 在街道两边有很多树。
Both of the twins like playing football. 这对双胞胎都喜欢踢足球。
(3) neither 助动词 / 情态动词 / be动词 主语。表示 "一个人没有……，另一个人也没有……"
—I have never been to the Great Wall. — Neither have I.
—我从没去过长城。 —我也没有。
I can't swim. Neither can my brother.
我不会游泳，我弟弟也不会。
考点二、neither…nor… 可连接两个并列成分，表示 否定，"既不……也不…… "
He likes neither swimming nor running. 他既不喜欢游泳也不喜欢跑步。
I can speak neither English nor Japanese. 我不会说英语也不会说日语。
neither…nor… 可连接两个并列成分做主语，谓语动词遵循"就近原则"。
Neither the students nor the teacher knows anything about it.
同学们和老师对此都一无所知。
Neither Dale nor his parents are going to visit the museum tomorrow.
戴尔和他的父母明天都不打算去参观博物馆。
both…and … 和 neither … nor… 相对，但 both…and…连接两个并列成分做主语，谓语动词用复数。
Both Dale and his sister are going to visit the museum tomorrow.
戴尔和他的妹妹都打算明天去参观博物馆。
