以下是一篇感谢信例文：Dear Sir or Madam,
I am writing to thank you for the warm welcome you extended to my wife when she visited your country last week. (第一段说明写信的目的)
The help and advice you gave to her, and the introduction you arranged for her have resulted in a number of useful meetings and I should like you to know how grateful I am for all you have done. (第二段详细列出感谢的原因，以及对方的感谢给你带来的帮助）
I realized the value of time to a busy person like you and this makes me all the more appreciative of the time you so generously gave to her. (第三段再次表示感谢)

第一段话表明写信目的，可以使用以下句型：

- I am writing to show my sincere appreciation for…
当然，下列句型也可用于表示感谢：
