知识点2
Put your ruler in the desk.（把你的尺子放在桌洞里。）
in是在某物的形体或范围中，在……内，在……中。比如：
She was lying in bed.（她躺在床上。）
Sitting in an armchair.（坐在扶手椅里。）
Leave the key in the lock.（把钥匙留在锁孔里。）
Soak it in cold water.（把这东西浸泡在冷水里。）
Put your pencil box on the desk.（把你的铅笔盒放在桌子上。）
on是覆盖、附着在……上，指接触物体表面或构成物体表面的一部分。比如：
A picture on a wall.（墙上的画。）
There is a mark on your skirt.（你裙子上有一块斑。）
Put it down on the table.（把它放在桌子上。）
She climbed on to the bed.（她爬上了床。）
Put your pencil under the desk.（把你的铅笔放在桌子下面。）
under是在/到/通过……下面。比如：
Have you looked under the bed?（你看了床底下没有？）
She placed the ladder under the window.（她把梯子立在窗户下面。）
The dog squeezed under the gate and ran into the road.（狗从门底下钻出去，跑到大路上去了。）
