虽然这首诗并没有直接提到节约粮食，但是“箪食壶浆，以飨以祀”的表达，传达了食物的珍贵和应该珍惜的思想。在古代，食物的获取并不容易，因此诗中的这种珍惜食物，勤俭节约的思想，也是我们应该继承和发扬的。
