跟 awhile 和 a while 的区别类似，altogether 和 all together 意思很相近，但是用法不同。
一、altogether 作副词
1、意为”完全，全部“，表示强调，例如：

二、all together 意为”一起“，强调的是一组或一个集体中的所有成员，可以简单地等同于 everything together 或 everyone together，例如：
Put your clothes all together in one pile and I’ll wash them for you.
把你的衣服放在一堆，我给你洗。
解析：此句不能改为 put your clothes altogether in one pile，因为强调的是所有的衣服，是一个集体中的所有成员。
