小学阶段要求英语课弱化语法，但是孩子在平时的练习或者口语交际中还是会遇到为了让孩子们更好地学习小学阶段的连词，我整理总结了小学英语连词的相关使用方法，希望对孩子学习英语能够有帮助。接下来五将从以下几个方面来讲解连词.
小学英语连词
一、定义：
连词是连接单词，短语或者句子的一种词。
二、常见连词的使用方法：
1.and表示并列和对称
She can sing and dance.
2.both...and...两者都……
Both uncle and aunt work in the hospital.叔叔和婶婶在医院工作。
3.not only……but also……不但而且，表示并列
Not only you but also ken can play football.不光你，ken也会打足球。
4.neither……nor……既不……也不……表示并列
Neither you not I am right.你不对我也不对
5.or或者，还是，表示选择
Is it big or small?它是大还是小？
6.either……or……或者……或者，表示选择，
Either you or I have to do the housework.或者是你或者是我必须做家务。
7.but表示转折
He is thin but strong.他虽然瘦但是很强壮。
8.for因为，表示原因
He is not here ，for he is ill。他今天没有来，因为生病了。
9.so因此，表示原因
He got up late,so he missed the bus.他起床晚了，所以错过公交车。
10.when当……的时候，表示时间
When i was young,I wanted to be a teacher.小时候，我想成为一名老师。
11.after在……之后，表示事情发生的先后顺序
After you finished the homework,you can go out and play.写完家庭作业后可以出去玩会。
12.before在……之前，表示时间的先后顺序与after构成一组反义词
You must turn off the light before you leave.你必须在你离开前把灯关上。
13.as soon as一....就...，表示时间
You should go home as soon as it stops raining.雨一停你就回家。
14.if如果，表示条件
If you have any questions,please let me know.如果你有什么问题请告诉我。
15.although/though尽管、虽然，表示让步
Although he is thin,he is strong.他虽然瘦但是强壮。
16.because因为，表示原因
Why are you so late？Because I missed the bus.你为什么来晚了？因为我没有赶上公交。
※：1.and经常用在肯定句中，or经常用在否定句中。
2.英语because和so都表示原因，不能同时出现在一个句子中，还有although/but。
