上节课我们讲了过去进行时，现在我们讲解过去完成时（The Pass Prefect ）。
过去完成时，表示过去某一时刻或某一动作之前已经完成的动作或状态。通常我们用“过去的过去”来比喻过去完成时。
过去完成时句中常有一个表示过去的“时间状语”或“从句”。如：before... (在...之前 ) , not ...until... (直到...才 ), at that time ( 那时), by the time... ( 直到... 时候), by the end of last year / last month / last week ( 截止去年年底 / 上月底 / 上周末), 等等。
过去完成时的结构：
主语 had 过去分词
（1）过去完成时的肯定句：主语 had 过去分词
例如：By the time I got to the bus stop, the bus had already left.
我到达汽车站时，汽车已经离开了。
（分析：汽车已经“离开”这个动作，发生在我“到达”汽车站之前，所以是“过去的过去”，适用过去完成时。）
The movie had started before I arrived at the cinema.
我到达电影院之前，电影已经开始了。
（分析：电影“开始”这个动作，在我“到达”电影院这个动作之前。）
（2）过去完成时的否定句：主语 had not 过去分词
例如：At that time we hadn't met her.
那时候，我们还没有见过她。
The country had not recovered from the effects of the war until 2004.
这个国家直到2004年才从战争的影响下恢复过来。
语音、语法、词汇是构成语言的三大要素。
（3）过去完成时的一般疑问句：Had 主语 过去分词 ?
例如：Had you visited the museum before you left here?
你离开这里之前，参观博物馆了吗？
Yes, I had. 是的，我参观了。
No, I had not. (I hadn't) 不，我没有参观。
Had they finished building the house by the end of last year?
截止去年年底时，他们已经建好房子了吗？
Yes, they had. 是的，他们建好了。
No, they hadn't. 不， 他们没有建好。
特殊疑问句: 在一般疑问句前加: What, Where, Why, Which, How 等疑问副词或提问代词。
例如：What had you had for lunch before you came here?
你们来这里之前，午饭吃了些什么？
How many English words had she learned by the end of last month?
截止上月底，她学了多少英语单词？
Why hadn't they finished the project before they graduated from the university?
为什么他们大学毕业前没有完成这个项目？
