住房和城乡建设部日前表示，今年将新开工改造城镇老旧小区5.3万个以上，以打造更加宜居的城市。2022年，我国实现新开工改造5.1万个城镇老旧小区的年度目标任务。
China will start the renovation of over 53,000 old urban residential communities this year in an effort to make cities more livable, a senior official from the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development said Tuesday. The figure is higher than last year's target of 51,000 residential communities renovated, which was successfully accomplished.

老旧小区改造是提升老百姓获得感的重要工作，也是实施城市更新行动的重要内容。要聚焦为民、便民、安民，尽可能改善人居环境，改造水、电、气等生活设施，更好满足居民日常生活需求，确保安全。
