2.Listen and read the whole story.Check how many questions they can answer and what more information they can get from the first reading.

【设计意图】在读的过程中,通过对文本整体的阅读,配合录音播放,学生对文本整体的内容和框架有了大致了解。将读前活动中学生提出的问题作为阅读的任务,使得学生阅读时能有的放矢;而紧接其后就文本信息的自由回答则很开放,降低了阅读的门槛,鼓励学生开口讲英语,调动他们深入学习文本故事的积极性。
3.Do a jigsaw reading.
(1)Assign tasks
Divide the whole story into four parts according to four seasons.Then ask the students to work in four groups and each group reads one season for details.
T:Now, each group chooses your season to read.Try to find out the activities Little Leaf does.Then I’ll invite each group to report your part.Remember to list some questions to ask other groups to check their understanding.You’ll have five minutes to do the task.Here are some new words for your reading.
