本文讲解两个初中英语重点词汇，Catch的用法。
1. be caught in:
陷入...的困境中， 突然遇到，遇（雨，雪），陷入（全套）
They were caught in a heavy rain.
他们遇上了一场大雨。
2. get caught in:
陷入...的困境中， 突然遇到，遇（雨，雪），陷入（全套）
He got caught in the traffic jam.
3. catch up with:
赶上， 跟上； 提出， 想出
He ran so fast that he could catch up with his brother.
他跑得很快，能赶上他弟弟。
She caught up with a good idea.
她想出了一个好主意。
4. catch sb doing sth:
发现（撞见，察觉）某人正在做做某事
I caught a person stealing.
我抓到一个人在偷东西。
5. sb be caught doing sth:
某人被发现正在做某事
The person was caught stealing.
那个人偷东西被抓了。
6. catch sight of : 看见（see）
I caught sight of my old friend in the street.
我在街上看见了我的老朋友。
7. catch hold of : 抓住
The policeman caught hold of the thief.
警察抓住了小偷。
8. catch sb alive : 活捉，抓个正着
We caught the fish alive.
我们活捉了那条鱼。
The smuggler was caught alive .
走私犯被活捉了。
9. 理解，懂得（动词）
I didn`t catch your idea.
我没听懂你的意思。
10. 圈套（名词）
Be careful, there is a catch in his question.
小心点，他的问题有个圈套。
11. 其他短语
Catch fire: 着火；
Catch a cold: 感冒；
Catch a fever: 发烧；
Catch the bus/train: 赶公共汽车/火车；
