英语中有一个词最爱“帮助”我们，它就是help。help爱“帮忙”，体现在不同的用法中。
（1）help sb. 意为“帮助某人” 。例如：
He always helps others.
他总是帮助别人。
（2）help sb. （to）do sth. 意为“帮助某人做某事”。例如：
I often help my mother （to）do housework.
我常常帮我妈妈做家务。
（3）help sb. with sth. 意为“帮助某人某事”。例如：
She helped me with my English yesterday.
她昨天帮助我学英语。
（4）help oneself （to sth.）意为“随便吃/喝……”。例如：
Welcome to my home ,and help yourself to some fruit.
欢迎来到我家，请随便吃点水果。
（5）can't help doing sth.意为“情不自禁做某事”。然而can’t help to do sth 意为“不能帮助做某事”。例如：
I can't help smiling when she sings English songs.
当她唱英文歌的时候，我情不自禁地笑了。
I can’t help to do it.
我不能帮忙做这事。
（6）with the help of 意为“在……的帮助之下”，相当于with one's help. 例如：
She spoke with us with the help of an interpreter.
她通过翻译和我们交谈。
