walk 是一个常见的英语动词，初中阶段其考点主要有两个，一是 walk to 同义转换，另一个为 a ten-minute walk 类似表达的用法;
walks（三单）- walking（现在分词）- walked（过去式）- walked（过去分词）
walk 主要有三种意思， “走（路），步行，散步”
The little baby can not walk.
这个小宝宝还不会走路。
My little sister learned to walk at the age of one.
我的小妹妹一岁时就学着走路。
Tina walks to school every day.
蒂娜每天步行上学。
I love walking after dinner.
我喜欢饭后散步。
walk 常见的短语：
1、walk to... = go to... on foot 步行去某地 （中考考点一）
（重点考察同义句转换，介词 to 与 on 的搭配）
He walks to the library.
= He goes to the library on foot.
他步行去图书馆。
walk to school 走路上学
当 walk 与副词 home，here，there 连用时，省略介词 to；
walk home 走路回家
walk here/there 步行来这里/去那里
2、walk 介词
walk away/off 走开，离开
When the teacher came, everyone walked away.
老师来的时候大家都走开了。
walk into 走路时撞着
Some of the young pandas walk into their friends and fall over.（八下第七单元）
一些小熊猫撞到它们的朋友摔倒了。
3、walk the dog 遛狗（了解）
My mom walks the dog every day.
妈妈每天都要出去遛狗。
If you want to keep a dog, you should spend time walking it.
如果你想要养狗，你得花时间遛狗。
walk 可作名词，“步行，散步”
go for a walk 去散步
take/have a walk 去散步
Let's go for a walk. 我们去散步吧！
People are used to taking a walk after dinner.

（常考察二者转换）
ten minutes' walk 为名词所有格形式，minute 用复数，前不用冠词；
a ten-minute walk 为复合形容词作定语结构，minute 用单数，ten-minute 相当于形容词，修饰 walk，前需用冠词；
It is ten minutes' walk from my home to the school.
It is a ten-minute walk from my home to the school.
从我家到学校步行十分钟。
I took a ten-minute walk.
我走了10分钟的路。
