考点一、hard 的用法
(1) 形容词 "困难的"，修饰名词作定语，或接在系动词后作表语。近义词 difficult, 相反词 easy。
This is a hard problem. 这是一个困难的问题。
It's hard to finish the work without your help. 没有你的帮助完成这项工作是困难的。
(2) 形容词 "硬的"。
It is as hard as stone. 它和石头一样硬。
The ground is too hard to dig. 地面太硬挖不动。
(3) 副词 "努力地"
Tom works hard at teaching English. 汤姆努力教英语。
Think hard , and you'll find an idea. 努力想, 你会想出办法的。
(4) 副词 "猛烈地，重重地"
It's blowing hard. You'd better not go out. 正刮大风，你最好不要出去。
It often rains hard here. 这里经常下大雨。
考点二、 hardly的用法
(1) hardly 副词 意为"几乎不", 具有否定意义，通常置于系动词、助动词及情态动词之后，行为动词前。
He can hardly speak English。他几乎不会说英语。
It's too cold outside. You can hardly see a person in the street.
外面太冷了，在街上你几乎看不到一个人。
There is something wrong with his eyes. He can hardly see anything, can he?
他的眼睛有毛病，他几乎看 不见东西，是吧？
(2) hardly与ever连用，表示否定的频度，表示"难得，很少"。
I hardly ever eat junk food.
我很少吃垃圾食品。
We hardly ever go to work on Sunday.
我们很少周日去上班。
