一、“Have the face”是什么意思？
“have the face”不是“有面子”！它指一个人的脸皮厚，厚颜无耻，恬不知耻：

二、make a face 不是“做脸”！
词系：made a face, makes a face, making a face；
make a face：做怪脸，做鬼脸；
The child made a face when she saw Mini V.
这孩子看到小V时，做了一个鬼脸。
三、pull a face 不是“拉扯脸”！
pull a face同make a face，都是“做鬼脸，扮鬼脸”的意思。
In order to take a nice photo, Mini V have to pull silly faces to make the baby laugh.
为了拍出一张好看的照片，小V我不得不做鬼脸来逗宝宝笑。
四、“face the music” 不是“面对音乐”！
搞错意思就尴尬了!
这是一个美国俚语，且用于口语，意思是：1.为错误的行为承担后果，2.敢于面对现实，不躲避责任，3.勇于接受应得的批评处罚等。
The gang was caught raping a girl student and had to face the music.
该团伙强奸了一位女学生被抓，只能承担后果。
五、“long face” 是“长脸”吗？
“long face” 除了本意“长面孔”外，还可指（阴郁的）脸（色），不高兴（无精打采）的面孔，wear / draw / pull / make a long face 愁眉苦脸，闷闷不乐。

你为什么整天都闷闷不乐？发生什么事了？
六、“lose one's face” 是什么意思？
“lose one's face” 是“丢脸、失去自尊心或别人的信任”的意思。

七、“save face” 怎么翻译？
“save face” 是保持尊严，有顾全面子，挽回面子，保全名誉等的意思。
