枯藤老树昏鸦，
小桥流水人家，
古道西风瘦马。

马致远（约1250年－1321年至1324年间），号东篱，大都（今北京，曾有异议）人，元曲作家。
与关汉卿、郑光祖、白朴并称“元曲四大家”。
MA Zhiyuan (c. 1250-a year twixt 1321 & 1324), East Fence by literary name, a native of Dadu (present-day Beijing, once a controversial issue), a play writer of the Yuan dynasty. Ma and the other three, Guan Hanqing, Zheng Guangzu and Bai Pu, have been known as the “Four Great Play Writers in the Yuan dynasty”.（张雪丽 王雪莲译）
