一、must 表示 “必须”
We must follow the school rules.
我们必须遵守校规。
You must finish your work before dinner.
吃饭前，你必须完成你的工作。
must 的否定形式 mustn't, 表示“禁止，不准，不能”，语气非常强烈！
You mustn't park your car here.
这里禁止停车。
She mustn't leave without the teacher's permission.
没有老师的允许，她不能离开。
You mustn't eat if you don't finish your homework.
你不完成作业就不准吃饭。
must 表示“必须”，引导疑问句时，回答有两种:（重点）
Must I clean the room today?
今天我必须打扫房间吗？
1）肯定回答： Yes, you must. (是的，必须)
2）否定回答：No, you needn't. / you don't have to.
(不，你不必/没必要)
根据语境很容易理解，如果否定回答用：No, you mustn't. 则不能表示“没必要”，而是表示“不准，不能” ，与语境语气不符！
must 与 have to 的区别：
1、两者都可以表示“必须”；
must 更加侧重于主观状态；
have to 侧重与客观的“不得不”，有被迫或无奈的含义；
We must get to school on time.
我们必须准时到校。（主观责任）
It is rainy. I have to take an umbrella.
天下雨了，我不得不带上雨伞。（客观所迫）
2、must 没有人称时态变化，have to 却有；
She had to stay at home yesterday.
昨天她不得不呆在家里。
My mom has to get up early because of the meeting.
由于要开会，妈妈不得不早起。
3、二者的否定表示不同含义
mustn't 表示“禁止，不准”
don't have to 表示“不必，没必要”= needn't
You mustn't fight at school.
学校里不准打架。
You don't have to come here tomorrow.
明天，你没有必要来这里。
二、must 表示推测，译为“一定，肯定”，用于肯定句；
He must be late for school today.
他今天上学肯定会迟到。
Shee must be our new teacher.
她一定是我们的新老师。
Jenny must be very tired now after the exercise.
运动之后，Jenny现在一定很累。
当表推测，用于否定句时，用“can't"， 译为“不可能”；
The news can't be true.
这消息不可能是真的。
