一、全部倒装的几种情况
1.there be 结构中，be动词的形式要与最近的一个名词保持一致。
例如:
There is a pen and two books here.
2.在以here,there,now,then或方位副词out,in,up,down,away开头的句子，以示强调，用倒装。
例如:
①Here comes the bus.
②Out rushed the children.
但要注意:若主语是人称代词时，不用倒装。
例如:Out he rushed.
3.为保持句子平衡，或为了强调表语或状语，而把表语或状语提前。
例如:
①In the middle of the room,stands a desk.
②South of the city is a steel factory.
二、部分倒装的几种情况:
1.only 所修饰的副词，介词短语或状语从句放在句首时。（主句用倒装）
例如:
①Only then did I realize that I was wrong.
②Only in this way can you work out the problem.
③Only when school is over are they able to go home.
④Only I can speak English.
2.含有否定意义的副词如hardly,never,not,little,few,seldom,not until,not only,no sooner,scarely,rarely开头时。
例如:
①Seldom does he come late.
②Never shall I give up hope.
③Not only can he speak English,but also he can speak Japanese.
④No sooner had he arrived than the bus left.
⑤Not until he finished his homework did he go to bed.
3.为避免重复，用so引起肯定倒装，用nor/nither引起否定倒装。
例如:
①The man is a worker,so is his wife.
②I like English,so does he.
③He can speak Chinese,so can I.
4.含有if从句的虚拟语气，如果省略if，则要把从句中原有的were,hard,should提前。
例如:
①Were he here,you would see him.
②Had I known his address,I would have told him.
5.在so……that 和such……that 句型中，当so/such以及它们所修饰的成分放在句首时，主句要用倒装。
例如:
①So good is his English that he can speak with foreigers.
②So well does his study that he never fails in the exams.
③Such was her bravery that the enemy were frightened.
④Such a good girl is she that we all like her.
