A Study on the Application of Associated Statistical Analysis Methods for English Achievement Test Performance in Senior High SchoolYang Fei
Abstract: Students’ test performance is a very important evaluation index of education and teaching, so it is significant in teaching quality management and also helpful for solving problems in teaching. But the reality is that many teachers in secondary schools only focus on average, pass rate, excellent rate, and so on, when analyzing students’ test performance, which will not produce beneficial backwash effect to teaching. Based on the associated statistical analysis method, this research try to count and analyze the test performance of the students in Grade 2 from three aspects: the overall picture, lateral comparison and vertical comparison, and to find that the associated statistical analysis method can reflect the situation of teaching truthfully and objectively and provide sufficient information to improve the efficiency of teaching and learning.
