而在西班牙语中，他们用Clásico（同英语“Classic经典”一词）一词来表达那些“不受derby（地区）限制且以激烈程度而闻名的比赛”，比如我前面一直没有提到过的皇马和巴萨间的较量，西班牙当地人并不将其称为“西班牙国家德比（Derbi España）”，而是将其称为El Clásico（同英语The Classic），此外毕尔巴鄂竞技同皇马或者巴萨之间的比赛也被称为Clásico，有“世界第一德比”之称的博卡青年与河床之间的比赛则被称为Superclásico。

当然我也提到了，像derby、rivalry、Clásico这些词只是在一些书面上定义会比较死，实际上也没太多讲究。比如在意大利，国际米兰和尤文图斯的比赛就不会称作Clásico，而是叫Derby d'Italia（意大利德比）；罗马和那不勒斯之间的比赛甚至叫做太阳德比（Derby del Sole），这样命名甚至和地区性都没多大关系了，所以也没必要过度去区分用词，怎么顺口怎么来，爱怎么说就怎么说。
