- 让步状语从句常用的引导连词有：although, though; even if, even though; as。“虽然、尽管、即使”。
注意，这些引导连词引导了状语从句后，另一个句子也就是主句不能再用but，但可以用yet, still。

Though\Although he tried hard, yet he failed again. 虽然他尽力了，却又失败了。
Although it's late, Mr Feng is still working in his office. 虽然天很晚了，冯老师仍然在办公室工作。
Even if \ Even though he didn't know the old man, he bought lunch for him. 尽管他不认识那位老人，他还是为他买了午饭。
Li Hua accepted Mr Feng's gift although he didn't like it. 李华接受了冯老师的礼物尽管他并不喜欢它。
- 注意，despite, in spite of 尽管，它们是介词，后面不能跟句子，只接名词短语或-ing分词短语。
Though he is very young, he knows a lot. 尽管他很小，他懂得却很多。
In spite of his being young, he knows a lot.
Even though he achieved a lot in medicine, he remained modest. 即使他在医学方面取得很大成就，他仍然很谦虚。
Despite his achievements in medicine, he remained modest.
- no matter what, who, when, where, which, how 等，可以代替whatever, whoever, whenever, wherever, whichever, however来引导让步状语从句。"无论... , 不管...."
We have decided to do so, whatever happens. 我们决定这样做了，无论发生什么。
Whoever may trouble you, I will help you to the last. 不管谁给你制造麻烦，我都会帮你到底。
No matter where you go, I will go with you. 无论你去哪儿，我都会跟你去。
