Would Rather 和 Would Prefer的用法

Would Rather
当某人自己表达对现在或将来某物的偏爱时:
主语 would rather ('d rather) 动词原形
I would rather (I'd rather) stay at home than go out right now.
当指过去时:
主语 would rather ('d rather) have 动词的过去分词
I would rather (I'd rather) have stayed at home than (have) gone out last nigh.
当某人表达对某人现在或未来行为的偏好时:
主语 would rather ('d rather) 宾语 过去式
I would rather (I'd rather) you gave up smoking.
指过去时:
主语 would rather ('d rather) 宾语 过去完成时
I would rather (I'd rather) you hadn't lied to me about your school marks yesterday.
当某人自己表达对现在或将来某物的偏爱时:
主语 would prefer to 不定式 动词
I would prefer ('d prefer) to watch TV rather than (to) do shopping.
当指过去完成时:
主语 would prefer ('d prefer) to have 过去分词
I would prefer (I'd prefer) to have been born somewhere else.
当某人表达对某人现在或未来行为的偏好时:
主语 would prefer ('d prefer) 宾语 to 不定式 动词
I would prefer ('d prefer) my son to live with me rather than (to) live abroad.
当指过去时:
主语 would prefer ('d prefer) 宾语 to have 过去分词
