Hello，Dear judges and friend，Iam李明轩.Today I will share about history behind Spring Festival.my favorite holiday.
很久很久以前，在中国有一只又大又可怕又讨厌的野兽叫做"年"，它的名字就是年的意思。它有锋利的牙齿、巨大的爪子，还有非常凶狠的咆哮。大部分时间它生活在荒野之中，但在一年中最黑的夜晚朔月出现的时候它就会溜进村子，吓走所有看到的人甚至动物。大家因此对正月里的年兽担惊受怕了很多年。
直到有位智者告诉大家年兽害怕的三样东西：喧闹声、火光和红色。下次年兽再来的时候村民们进行了反击，他们尽可能大声地敲鼓，放响他们所有的烟花炮仗，从头到脚都穿着红色的衣服。年兽从此被吓跑就再也没回来了。自此人们开始庆祝正月新年。这个庆祝活动慢慢变成了一个15天的家庭聚餐，祈求好运的节日，叫做农历新年。
Nowadays.many countries and regions regard the Spring Festival as a legal holiday,and about onefifthof the global population celebrates it in various forms.
This year.2024.the Spring Festival has been officially listed as a UN Floating Holiday in the United Nation Calendar of Conferences and Meetings starting from 2024.
As announced by the Chinese Mission to the United Nations in a statement.
Now.Spring Festival is not only belong to China.also welcomed internationaly.
