今天插播一篇英语诊疗对话。
这些对话不会像之前的几篇医学英语词汇那样包含较多医学专业知识以及专业词汇，一般只基于日常的就诊情景，较为简短。以后我会不定期插播一些这类英语诊疗对话，作为医学英语会话练习吧。
今天的对话主要涉及询问病史。
Doctor:
I'd like to ask you about your past medical history. Can you tell me whether you've had any childhood diseases, for example chickenpox, measles, mumps or rubella?
医生：
我想问一下你以往的病史。你小时后得过什么病吗？比如水痘、麻疹、流行性腮腺炎或风疹？
注：
medical adj.医学的；内科的；药的。
medical history，病历、病史。
disease n.病，疾病；弊病。
chickenpox n.水痘。
measle n.麻疹、风疹。
mumps n.流行性腮腺炎。去掉"s"的mump为动词，表示喃喃的说；乞求；欺骗。
rubella n.风疹。
Patient：
When I was small, I had measles, chickenpox and whooping cough, but I don't think I ever had rubella.
病人：
我小时后得过麻疹、水痘和百日咳，但是我不记得有得过风疹。
注：
whooping cough，百日咳。
whoop v.叫喊；唤起；喘息。n.叫喊；唤起；哮喘声。
cough v.咳嗽、咳出。n.咳嗽、咳嗽声、咳嗽病。
Doctor:
Have you ever been hospitalized for anything, or have you ever had an operation?
医生：
你有因为什么病住过院，或者动过手术吗？
注：
hospitalize v.住院、使留医。
operation n.手术；操作；经营、运转。
have an operation，动手术。
Patient:
Well, I had my tonsils taken out when I was a child.
病人：
嗯，我小时后做过扁桃体切除。
注：
tonsil n.扁桃体、扁桃腺。
Doctor:
Have you had any major health problems since then?
医生：
从那以后有出现什么大的健康问题吗？
Patient:
Yes, I have diabetes.
病人：
有，我有糖尿病。
注：
diabetes n.糖尿病、多尿症。
Docrot:
When were you first diagnosed with diabetes? What were your symptoms?
医生：
你第一次被诊断出糖尿病是什么时候？当时有什么症状吗？
注：
diagnose v.诊断、判断。diagnose…with…，诊断……患有……。
symptom n.症状、征兆。
Patient:
I was diagnosed when I turned 14. I was always thirsty, tired and depressed.
病人：
我是在14岁的时候被诊断出糖尿病。我当时老是感觉口渴、疲劳、无精打采。
注：
depress v.使沮丧；使萧条。
Doctor:
Have you received any treatment for this?
医生：
那你有接受过什么治疗吗？
注：
treatment n.处理；对待；治疗、疗法。
Patient：
I've been getting insulin shots ever since.
病人：
从那以后我一直注射胰岛素。
注：
insulin n.胰岛素。
shot作动词可以表示注射。
ever since，从那时起到现在。
Doctor:
Have you had your vaccinations?
医生：
你接种过疫苗吗？
注：
vaccination n.接种（疫苗）。
vaccinate v.接种疫苗、注射疫苗。
Patient:
Yes.
病人：
接种过。
Doctor:
OK, good.
医生：
嗯，好。
